How to prepare a chocolate and vanilla mugcake for a snack

In view of the success of the previous recipe of yogurt mug cake and before the requests of some of you through messages addressed to my email, I have prepared another recipe for mugcake, in this case a chocolate and vanilla mugcake, great for a family snack accompanied by a glass of cold milk.

In this case, in addition to the mug - cup with handle - we will need to stain two small bowls to be able to make the two doughs that we will mix to get the veined effect of this cake. As in the other, the quantities indicated for a cup or ration and thus it is easier to calculate if you want to make two or three. Ask the children to help you prepare it because they will have fun and eat it better.

Ingredients for a mug cake

  • 30 g of butter, 3 ounces of dark chocolate, 1 egg, 30 g of sugar, 40 g of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence, 1 tablespoon of cream, 1/2 tablespoon of Royal yeast and almond crocanti granillo to decorate

How to make a chocolate and vanilla mug cake for snack

We melt the butter in the cup, putting it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. We do the same operation with chocolate, putting it in one of the bowls and melting it in two or three 30 second batches of microwave.

In the other bowl, we mix the sugar with the egg, beat well, add the cream, mix, continue with the flour and the yeast and finally the butter, stirring until we get a homogeneous mass.

we passed a third of that dough to the chocolate bowl and mix well. In the other bowl that has two thirds of dough we add the essence of vanilla. Then, we take a tablespoon of the vanilla dough and put it in the cup or mugo and continue with another of the chocolate dough and we alternate them, tablespoon to tablespoon until the end of the two masses.

Stir gently with a spoon to form a kind of grain and add the almond crocanti, sprinkling on top. Bake in the microwave at 800W for 1 minute and 45 seconds. Ready to take to the table and eat when it cools a little.

Tasting

Mugcakes in general and also this chocolate and vanilla mug cake They are good when they are warm after two or three minutes of waiting. This is how the interior is finished cooking (already outside the microwave) and we make sure that no family member will burn when tasting it. This mixture of two colors and two flavors is ideal to enjoy as a family.
