Video games could improve visual health if used correctly

Surely there are many other options to improve the visual health of children, but since the machines and consoles have been installed in many homes as a companion of games, it is not bad to know about this study.

It is an investigation of International Optometry Center (IOC) which ensures that video games help improve the attention and visual health of young people if used correctly.

New technologies are not good nannies.

Therefore, despite this benefit, I think we should not forget some important points: you should always choose the age-appropriate games for its theme and the strategies or skills they develop, and above all to set limits on the time of use to avoid sedentary habits as much as possible: no more than half an hour a day.

Optometry experts highlight other benefits related to the correct use of video games, such as decreasing reaction time, improving communication when playing in groups, and developing other skills related to everyday situations that may appear in games.

But what better communication than what you have to use to play without being given everything? What better everyday situations than they can experience in real life? Is that at this step I see the children doing the physical education class hooked on the Wii ...
