A policeman took care of three children, so that their mother could file a complaint for domestic violence

For people who are victims of violence, it is not always easy to raise their voices and denounce. It is usually a decision that takes a lot of time and requires a lot of courage to do so. If there are also children involved, going to make a complaint can be very complicated.

Fortunately, a mother who decided to do so met an angel along the way, because a policeman helped her take care of her three children while she filed a domestic violence complaint.

The West Jordan Police Department in Utah has shared on its Facebook page a series of photographs of officer Lofgran in his offices, in which he is seen holding a baby in his arms.

That baby was one of the three children under the age of five with whom a mother arrived at the police station, who came to report domestic violence accompanied only by their children. And that's when Officer Lofgran enters the scene.

According to the publication, Officer Lofgran was taking care of the children for several hours, because such a complaint takes time, since it is necessary to speak with personnel specialized in the subject and also fill out a lot of documentation.

Our archive manager captured Officer Lofgran during his service the other day. A young mother arrived at the station accompanied by her young children to file a complaint for domestic violence. Officer Lofgran helped take care of the children while the mother received the help she needed. He spent hours on this task. Thank you very much for your service!

The publication has been received with hundreds of positive comments, applauding the police action and calling him "hero", because Although it may seem like a small act, it certainly helped the mother.

This is not the first time we see police officers help mothers or children with small acts of kindness. Some time ago we shared the case of an Argentine police, who breastfed a baby who cried in the hospital and could not be treated by her mother.
