This weekend, enjoy museums with your children

This weekend is our opportunity to visit a museum with the children. Every year around May 18, International Museum Day is celebrated, so today, Saturday and tomorrow, most of them are free.

It is an event coordinated by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) that encourages all the public to know these spaces that have so much to offer. We will not get rid of the queues, but in return we will find in many museums Free activities and workshops for children.

Painting, archeology, science, history, sculpture, nature, music ... There are museums with themes for all tastes, and surely you have a museum that you have not yet visited or want to return to. Do not stop looking at their agendas to sign up for what you most want.

And if you haven't visited any museum with the kids yet, it's a good time to do it. Tell them about what they are going to see and introduce them into the world of what they are going to see. Go with time and to the rhythm of the children To make it a perfect day.

For starters, a museum is fine, but we have two days to take advantage of it and if we plan well we can meet more than one, as long as the children feel like it.

And don't give up if at first it didn't work out. It might be the day, it might be the time ... but children enjoy learning and museums can be fun if we see them through their eyes.

Museums in buildings or in open spaces, traditional or modern, art or interactive… Have you already thought about which museum you are going to visit with the kids? I hope you enjoy it!
